Vice President of Operations

Our client, a local family owned, community focused and established corporation, is seeking a Vice President of Operations. The Vice President of Operations will be a key member of the management team and will assume full responsibility for overseeing and directing operations in accordance with the company’s strategic plan and operating budgets. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Vice President of Operations will offer expertise in developing best in class operations processes, continuous improvement and fiscal success.

The ideal candidate will have proven leadership and management experience, and the ability to deliver excellence in service and productivity. Other required competencies include; strategic thinking, analytical thinking, decision making skills, business acumen, detail orientation, relationship building, and negotiation and communication skills. The successful candidate will be a team player with a focus on establishing accountability in key processes and creating performance metrics and goals to meet and exceed those measures.

A Bachelor’s degree in Business or Management or a related field and a minimum of ten years of related experience in operations are both required. Also required is experience utilizing statistics and data in business decision making.
