Director of Human Resources

Superior Lubricants, a locally owned and operated distributor for over 40 years of motor oils and lubricants, is seeking a Director of Human Resources. The Human Resources Director is responsible for directing all of the people functions in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, and the policies, practices and values of the organization. This position coordinates all departmental, organizational, and strategic human resource activities. Together with the Human Resources team, the Director will provide the best talent available working in an effective, efficient, and engaged manner to satisfy clients and create a positive employee relations environment.

The ideal candidate must be a seasoned human resources leader, who can be hands on while also having a seat at the table and possess solid management experience building and leading effective teams. The Director will have proven ability to see the big picture, act as a catalyst for change, and improve processes and best practices. Required competencies include: communications proficiency, ethical conduct, business acumen, strategic thinking, presentations skills, analytical thinking and credibility.

A Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of seven-ten years of related human resources senior leadership experience are required. A master degree, SPHR certification, and manufacturing experience are preferred.
